Assistant Inspector General of Prisons shortened to AIG of Prisons or AIG Prisons, is a high-ranking officer in the provincial prison system, usually equivalent in rank to the Senior Superintendent of Jail or Superintendent of Central Jail within a province in Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
