Shack by a Frozen Lake by August Piepenhagen, National Gallery in Prague

August Friedrich Piepenhagen (Czech: August Bedřich Piepenhagen) (Soldin, August 2, 1791 - Prague, September 27, 1868) was a German painter active in Bohemia. He was known particularly for his landscapes. Some of his work is in the collections of the National Gallery in Prague. His daughter Charlotte was also active as a landscapist.
