AussieMite is the registered brand name for a dark brown, salty food paste mainly used as a spread on sandwiches and toast similar to the better-known Vegemite and Marmite. It is a spread for sandwiches, toast, crumpets and cracker biscuits as well as a filling for pastries like a Cheesymite scroll.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
