An ephemeris (plural: ephemerides) is a table providing apparent positions of the sun, the moon, and the planets at a given moment in time. It also provides data on astronomical phenomena of interest to astrologers such as solar and lunar eclipse, apparent retrogradation, planetary ingress, sidereal time and positions for the nodes of the moon.
