Āyandah (The Future) is a Persian academic journal of Iranian studies established in 1925 by Mahmood Afshar. According to the OACIS for the Middle East, volumes 1-3 span 1925-1929 and volumes 5-19 cover 1979-1993/94. Iraj Afshar was the editor of the publication for the fifteen years between 1979-1993.
