Babulal Nagar is an Indian politician belonging to Indian National Congress party. He is a former minister in Government of Rajasthan led by Ashok Gehlot. He was arrested by Central Bureau of Investigation for allegedly raping a woman. In her police complaint the 35-year-old woman had alleged that Nagar called her to his official residence on 11 September 2013 on the pretext of giving her a government job and raped her. Babulal Nagar is now lodged in Jaipur Central Jail. Nagar was elected to Rajasthan Legislative Assembly in 2008 from Dudu in Jaipur district on congress ticket.[1]
