The Baladi Rabbit is an Egyptian rabbit which is bred to cope with the Egyptian climate and primarily used for meat production, much like the Bauscat Rabbit.[1]

They come in black, red and white, weigh around 2.7 kg (6lb) and have typical litters of 5-6 kits.
