Balawa is a village development committee in Mahottari District in the Janakpur Zone of south-eastern Nepal. At the time of the [[1991 Nepal census]. this village have a sigle span two cable hanging bridge it is the one in tarai region .it has a big school fomous for qualitative education .it has big marker also called BALAWA BAZAR(बलवा बजार).it introduces a best for education .it had a population of 6348 people living in 1128 individual households.[1]
