Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever (known as Ecks vs. Sever II: Ballistic in Europe[1]) is the second video game based on the film Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever. It was developed by Crawfish Interactive and published by BAM! Entertainment in 2002. Like its predecessor, Ecks vs. Sever, it is a first-person shooter on the Game Boy Advance.
Reception
The sequel was considered better than Ecks vs. Sever,[citation needed] but received lower review scores because it was released later in the Game Boy Advance life cycle.[citation needed] It also had to compete with other shooters, such as Doom. The first level was criticized for having a difficult hedge maze that discouraged many gamers. The game reportedly lagged if many enemies and objects were on-screen in certain levels. The sound effects were much improved from the first game.[2]
