Bangaarada Panjara (Kannada: ಬಂಗಾರದ ಪಂಜರ) is a 1974 Indian Kannada comedy film directed by V. Somashekhar and starring Rajkumar in the lead role. The supporting cast features Aarathi, K. S. Ashwath, Pandari Bai and Lokanath.[1][2][3] The core plot of the movie is thematically similar to 1972 Marathi movie Ekta Jeev Sadashiv starring Dada Kondke and was later used in the Hindi movie Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hain.
