Banijay Entertainment is a French media company.

Information

Banijay Entertainment was established 2008. It was created by a group of professionals that was led by Stéphane Courbit. There were private investors that were involved with the creation of the company as well. These investors included the Agnelli family (Fiat), the De Agostini family, Jean-Paul Bize (AMS Industries), and Bernard Arnault (LVMH).[1] The executive Vice-President of the company is François De Brugada. The head of Group Financial Controls Sophie Kurinckx. The General Consel is Frédérique Sauvage.[2] In 2013, Marco Bassetti, former president of Endemol, was named CEO.[3] The company produces and distributes online, ad-funded, and branded entertainment content as well as traditional broadcast television content.
