Bankhead Courts was a public housing complex located in northwest Atlanta, Georgia. Bankhead Courts was the location of the infamous Atlanta child murders of the 1970s. Bankhead Courts was demolished in 2011,[1] with the ultimate plan of redevelopment into a mixed-income community, although as of 2015 development has not yet occurred.
