Barchowsky Fluent Handwriting is an italic script developed in the late 20th century by Nan Jay Barchowsky, similar to the Getty-Dubay script. The letter forms of the print version taught to young children are very similar to the semi-connected cursive forms taught to older children, making the transition easier.
