Bartonella senegalensis is a Gram-negative, aerobic, rod-shaped, Catalase- and oxidase-negative non-spore-forming, non-motile bacteria from the genus of Bartonella which was isolated from the tick Ornithodoros sonrai in Senegal in Africa .[2][3]
