Bela ampla is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Mangeliidae.[1]

Description

The length of the shell attains 17 mm.

The original description of this species by E.A. Smith was only phrased in comparative terms and lacked an image. It was redescribed by Stockland in 1987.[2] The holotype of this species is in the British Museum (Natural History) no. 198230.

Distribution

This marine species occurs in the Arctic seas.
