The wingspan is 24–25 mm.[4]

The larvae feed on the roots of Onobrychis species, including Onobrychis sativa, Onobrychis viciinifolia and Onobrychis toumefortii species.[5] Other records include Lotus species and Anthyllis vulneraria.
