Ben Kirtland coached the Connecticut Huskies men's ice hockey team for seven years until the 1988-89 season. He was then replaced by Bruce Marshall.[1] Kirtland won several championships at a Division III level. He was partially responsible for upgrading the program to Division I, though he left before this finished.
