Big Brain (Korean빅브레인),[1] is a South-Korean R&B ballad group consist of four-member under label World Show Market. They have been active since 2010 and officially debuted on October 22, 2015 with the album Billionaire Sound and their breakthrough song “Welcome”.

History

Pre-debut

They are a student who majored in vocal and decided to perform a group, before they debuted they named their team as The Man but because of another senior group have a similar name they changed it. Big Brain means a group of that enjoy music and loves to sing and together with their song and their music their brain get bigger and bigger. Even before their official debut a lot people already recognized their talent and called them as the next Brown Eyed Soul and man version of Big Mama[2] Before they held official concert debut in South Korea they are busking around New York City and performed in Times Square, Central Park, Manhattan and elsewhere.[3]

2015 debut, Billionaire Sound

The group debuted on 22 October 2015 with the release of their first mini-album Billionare Sound and their digital single with title track "Welcome", the song is contains mixed ballad emotion and powerful R&B with charm and fresh tempo and the story of the song is about an honest man who wishes that his ex-lover would never have a beautiful relationship with another man. They show an impressive work and already boldly challenge the youth with a different genre.[4]

2016

They became an opening act in Olivia Newton-John concert on May,14[5]
