Barbodes dunckeri,[1] the bigspot barb, is a species of cyprinid fish native to Malaysia where it inhabits acidic swamps. This species can also be found in the aquarium trade.[2]

Etymology

The specific epithet honors Georg Duncker, a German ichthyologist.
