Bill Shanahan (born July 27, 1938) was the head football coach for the Western Illinois University Leathernecks located in Macomb, Illinois and he held that position for three seasons, from 1976 until 1978. His career coaching record at Western Illinois was 13 wins, 16 losses, and 1 ties. This ranks him 13th at Western Illinois in total wins and 14th at Western Illinois in winning percentage.[1]
