Bindian is a small village in Kotli District of Pakistani Kashmir. It is located at 33°20'20N 74°4'0E with an altitude of 810 metres (2660 feet)[1] and lies 12 kilometres from the town of Kotli. Bindian is located in the heart of the beautiful Bannah Valley of Khuiratta, which can also be pronounced Khoiratta.
Most of the people of Bindian are farmers.
Bindian also has lots of well qualified teachers, professors, librarians, and military and air force workers who have the ability to go outside their estate and study to set great examples for their future generations.
Bindian has two schools, a boys school and a girls school that children attend from the age of 4.
In Bindian there have known to be five notable individuals and during their lives they have contributed a great deal of their personal time for the community; and they were Master Allaf Deen, Qazi Mohammed Khalil Qureshi, Ghazi Abdur Rehman, Colonel Qazi Jaan Mohammed and Haji Raj Mohammad. Bindian has a beautiful mosque which recently has been rebuilt on the spot which is known as the taup.
