Bloodsport is the third album by Sneaker Pimps. It was released on January 22, 2002. The album was released on CD as well as a double red vinyl LP set.[1]
Despite failing to chart in the UK, it made the Austrian top 75 album chart at #68.[2] Lead single "Sick" charted only at #100 on the UK singles chart.[3]
The CD single "Loretta Young Silks" contains the b-side "Miami Counting".
The CD single "Sick" and the Japanese edition of Bloodsport contain a track called "After Every Party I Die", which was later re-recorded by Chris Corner's side project IAMX and released on their album The Alternative.
The 12 inch single of Bloodsport contained the b-side "O-Type". An alternative version of this track has circulated online.
Samples
"Kiro TV"'s opening synth riff is sample variation from the Ultravox! song "ROckWrok".
