Blutaparon vermiculare, with common names silverhead,[2] silverweed, saltweed, and samphire, is a species of plant in the Amaranthaceae family, native to Central America and the southeastern United States.[1] It is an edible[3] perennial plant that sometimes grows as an annual.[1]
