Bojan Nastić (Serbo-Croatian pronunciation: [bôjan nâːstitɕ]; born 6 July 1994) is a Bosnian professional footballer who plays as a left back for Belgian First Division A club Genk and the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.

Nastić started his professional career at Vojvodina. He joined Genk in 2016.

A former Serbian youth international, Nastić made his senior international debut for Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2018.

Club career

Early career

In 2009, after being spotted in "Stevan Nešticki" annual youth tournament while playing for his hometown club Vlasenica, Nastić was invited to join youth ranks of Vojvodina.[1] He made his professional debut on 7 April 2012 in 0–2 home loss against Rad.[2] Over two years later, Nastić scored his first as a professional, in an away win over Napredak Kruševac.[3]

Genk

On 10 August 2016, Nastić signed a two-year contract with Belgian side Genk with an option for two additional seasons.[4] He made his competitive debut three weeks later, coming off the bench in a 1–0 win over Zulte Waregem.[5]

In April 2018, Nastić signed a new two-year deal with the club.[6]

International career

Nastić represented Serbia on various youth levels, but he decided to represent Bosnia and Herzegovina on senior level, as he was born there.[7]

His application to change sports citizenship from Serbian to Bosnian was approved by FIFA in May 2018.[8] Subsequently, he received his first senior call-up later that month, for friendly games against Montenegro and South Korea.[9] Nastić made his senior international debut against former, starting the game that ended in a goalless draw.[10]
