Boyko Vasilev Petrov (Bulgarian: Бойко Василев Петров) (born on 9 January 1970) is a Bulgarian journalist and television host.

Biography

Since 1992, Vasilev has been working as a reporter and editor. In 2000, he became the sole presenter of the political show "Panorama" (Bulgarian: "Панорама") on BNT, taking over from Ivan Garelov.[1]

A graduate of the 91st German High School in the capital,[2] between 1989 and 1994, Vasilev studied journalism and mass communications at Sofia University. Vasilev also earned a doctorate in sociology from the same university in 2001. In 1997, he did a specialization in the field of journalism in Hamburg.[3]

Vasilev is married and has a son.[4]
