Brahian Alemán Athaydes (born December 23, 1989 in Montevideo) is a Uruguayan footballer playing for Gimnasia La Plata.

After a spectacular 2014 season with Arsenal, scoring 9 goals and grabbing 2 assists, Aleman was linked to a number of clubs. Boca Juniors, Independiente, and Barcelona Sporting Club were some of the large number of clubs interested in acquiring Aleman. After weeks of negotiations Aleman was signed by Ecuadorian team, Barcelona Sporting Club for a fee of $3 million on a 3-year contract.
