Branka Musulin (6 August 1917 - 1 January 1975) was a German-Croatian classical pianist and teacher.

Biography

She was born in Zagreb in 1917 (many sources give her year of birth as 1920).[1] When she was a child, Musulin already played in public. After her concert diploma and bachelor's degree, she travelled to Paris to study with Alfred Cortot and Yvonne Lefébure. Then she studied with Max von Pauer in Württemberg and Alfredo Casella in Rome.

After 1945, she lived with the patron Friedrich Bienert. She played with Hans Müller-Kray, Hermann Abendroth, Franz Konwitschny and from 1958 taught piano at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt am Main.

She died at the age of 57 in Schmallenberg, Sauerland.[2][3]
