Brian Blanchard

Brian Blanchard is a judge of the Wisconsin Court of Appeals.

Biography

Blanchard was born on November 7, 1958 in State College, Pennsylvania.[1] He graduated from the University of Michigan and with honors from the Northwestern University School of Law. Blanchard is married with three children.[2]

Career

Blanchard was an Assistant United States Attorney in Chicago, Illinois from 1990 to 1997. In 1997, he moved to Madison, Wisconsin and joined a private practice. He later became District Attorney of Dane County, Wisconsin and served in that position from 2001 until his election to the Court of Appeals in 2010.
