The Caves of Keash

The Bricklieve Mountains are an upland area located in south County Sligo, Ireland. The name means the speckled mountains in Irish, a possible reference to their appearance when more quartz rock survived on the outside of the cairns, causing them to sparkle in the sun.

The "mountains" cover an area of 25 square kilometres (9.7 sq mi) and include only two major hills, Carrowkeel at 321 metres (1,053 ft), and Kesh Corann at 359 metres (1,178 ft).[1] Carrowkeel hill contains the Carrowkeel Megalithic Cemetery. The Caves of Kesh are visible on the west side of Kesh Corran from the R295 road and the Dublin–Sligo railway line.
