The Bridgestone Racing Academy [“Academy”] is an auto racing school located in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada. It conducts corporate programs, racing schools, and a Mechanics Training Program [“MTP”]. The programs are conducted at Mosport International Raceway.
Overview
The Academy was established in 1992 at Shannonville Motorsport Park, just east of Belleville, Ontario when owners Charlie and Brett Goodman acquired the cars and equipment of the former Spenard-David Racing School and teamed with then-Bridgestone/Firestone Canada Inc. In the spring of 2000, the Bridgestone Racing Academy was moved to Mosport International Raceway.
