Brynbach

Brynbach was a National Campsite of the Scout Association, situated in Wales in the county of Denbighshire and near the village of Saron.^[1] It comprised a summer-house (later moved to Gilwell Park), a 1 metre deep man-made boating lake, swimming pools filled by natural springs, and an airstrip, as it was thought in the future scouts would pilot their own planes. The entrance to the site had a naturalistic wooden gate designed By Lord Baden Powell, the founder of Scouting.^[2]

It was in it heyday in the 1930s till the late 1950s.^[3]

There was planted there a Scout Emblem the Fleur de Lys, and an arrow pointing to Gilwell Park in the trees in Golden Larch.
