Buenaventura "Bong" Mendieta Villamayor (born May 4, 1967) is the fourth chess player from the Philippines to become a grandmaster.[1][2] He has never represented the Philippines in a FIDE-sanctioned event and has represented Singapore in international play since 2017.[3]
