The Burnie Ten is an Australian 10 km road race and is held on the third Sunday in October every year. It sees over 4000 runners line up. The Burnie Ten is run in the North West Coast of Tasmania city of Burnie along the Emu Bay. The out and back course is for not only the nation’s elite runners but for ordinary people.[1]

The Burnie Ten is partnered by Burnie Sports and Events who are an independent company that represents and partners a number of “High Profile” Events, Sports Clubs and Sporting Events within the Burnie community, providing professional sports management, office support & sponsorship fund raising to those organisations.

With over 1,300 children participating each year, not to mention the screaming parents and grandparent, race day at West Park Oval is one of the most exciting days of the year. Catering for a range of ages the 321-GO is exactly that – a number of short course races over 3 km, 2 km & 1 km dependent on age.
