Céline Buckens is a Belgian-British actress.[2]

She played Émilie in Steven Spielberg's 2011 film War Horse,[3][4] a role she won after only two auditions. The character is a young French girl who lives on a farm with her grandfather after she lost her parents in the war.[1]

As of 2017, she appears in the Netflix television series Free Rein, as Mia, a series regular.[5]

Education

Buckens has attended Thomas's London Day Schools and Godolphin and Latymer and St Mary's School, Ascot. She now studies History at the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Personal life

Buckens was a debutante at the Bal des débutantes in Paris.[6]
