Cătălin Gheorghiță Golofca (born 21 April 1990) is a Romanian professional footballer who plays for FC Steaua București as a forward or an attacking midfielder.
Club career
Botoșani
Golofca joined first division side FC Botoșani in January 2016.[1] He spent the rest of the 2015–16 campaign on loan at Rapid CFR Suceava.
On 18 August 2016, Golofca scored his first Liga I goal in a 5–0 away victory over ACS Poli Timișoara.[2]
Steaua București
On 7 August 2017, Steaua București announced the signing of Golofca on a four-year deal.[3] The capital-based club paid a reported €400,000 plus VAT for the transfer, with Botoșani retaining 60% of the player's economic rights.[4][5]
