CNN Checkout Channel was an out-of-home advertising place-based satellite television network broadcasting customized CNN programming by daypart at grocery stores across the United States. The network debuted in 1991 and was installed in over 1,000 grocery stores across 30 grocery chains in 25 U.S. markets. CNN shut down the network in late 1993.

The network launched utilizing Philips televisions at each aisle's cash register. CNN later installed separate motion-sensor activated speakers at the head of the aisle in an effort to reduce overall noise in the store, especially on aisles that were closed, and to overcome comments from cash register attendants who were distracted by the audio coming from the television.

CNN Checkout Channel was run by Turner Private Networks, Inc., a division of Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., now a division of Time Warner company.

The network was founded at CNN by Jon Petrovich and Scott Weiss. Sandy Goldman was the network's inaugural Vice President and General Manager. Blair Schmidt-Fellner succeeded Goldman and managed the wind down of the network.
