Carl J. Strikwerda (born 1952) is an American historian, and president of Elizabethtown College.[3]

He is the former dean of the faculty of arts and sciences at the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. He has also previously worked at the University of Kansas. On October 1, 2011, Strikwerda was inaugurated as Elizabethtown College's fourteenth president.[4]
