Carlos Alcaraz Garfia (born 5 May 2003) is a Spanish tennis player. Alcaraz has a career high ATP singles ranking of 136 achieved on 19 October 2020.[2]

At the age of 16, Alcaraz made his ATP main draw debut at the 2020 Rio Open, defeating fellow countryman Albert Ramos Viñolas, 7–6(7–2), 4–6, 7–6(7–2), in three hours and 36 minutes, after receiving a wildcard for the singles main draw.[3] Aged 17 he qualified for the main draw of the 2021 Australian Open making him the youngest participant in that year in the men’s singles.[4] Alcaraz won on his grand slam debut defeating fellow qualifier Botic van de Zandschulp in straight sets.[5]
