Carlos Pérez Suárez (born July 14, 1994 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico) is a Mexican professional boxer in the Light Welterweight division.[1] Carlos is promoted by current WBC Champion, Mexican Saúl Álvarez' company Canelo Promotions.[2]

Amateur career

During his amateur career he had seventeen fights, going 16-1.[3]

Professional career

In December 2010, Pérez beat the veteran Ivan Rodriguez at the Arena Jalisco in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.[4]

In his next fight Carlos lost against the veteran Cesar Figueroa, on the undercard Saúl Álvarez vs. Ryan Rhodes.[5]
