Carposina exochana is a moth of the Carposinidae family. It is endemic to New Zealand.

The wingspan is about 21 mm. The head and thorax are ochreous-white. The antennae, abdomen and legs are ochreous-whitish, the anterior legs suffused with dark fuscous. The pale whitish-ochreous forewings are elongate, scarcely dilated, the costa moderately arched, the apex round-pointed, the hindmargin faintly sinuate (wavy) and rather strongly oblique. There are about ten small irregular scattered black dots in the disc and a subterminal series of irregular cloudy black dots, obsolete towards the costa and inner margin. The hindwings and cilia are ochreous-whitish.
