Castanhal Esporte Clube, commonly known as Castanhal, is a Brazilian football club based in Castanhal, Pará state. They competed in the Copa do Brasil once.

History

The club was founded on September 7, 1924.[1] Castanhal competed in the Copa do Brasil in 2001, when they were eliminated in the First Round by Ponte Preta. They won the Campeonato Paraense Second Level in 2003.

Castanhal Esporte Clube play their home games at Estádio Maximino Porpino Filho.[1] The stadium has a maximum capacity of 10,000 people.[2]
