Category:Images from Pitts Theology Library Digital Image Archive

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The following images are taken from the Pitts Theology Library Digital Image Archive. Because they are faithful reproductions of a two-dimensional works of art on which copyright has expired, the images are themselves in the public domain. (See Commons:When to use the PD-Art tag)

Note that the pictures from Pantaleon's "Prosopographiae" should be taken with 'a grain of salt': It appears that he reused the same woodcuts to embellish several biographical sketches
