Category:Language articles needing infoboxes

This is a maintenance category, used for maintenance of the Wikipedia project. It is not part of the encyclopedia and contains non-article pages, or groups articles by status rather than subject. Do not include this category in content categories. This is a hidden category. It is not shown on its member pages, unless the corresponding user preference (Appearance → Show hidden categories) is set.

The following articles are tagged in their {{WikiProject Languages}} talk-page assessment boxes as needing info boxes. Articles with a language assessment box were scanned for Infobox language (family) on 14 September 2013, and those which dealt with a variety of language and which did not have info boxes were tagged. Because the tagging was partially automated, and it was preferable to err on the side of caution, infoboxes will be inappropriate in many cases. For such articles, please change the "needs-infobox=yes" tag in the assessment box to "needs-infobox=no". This will prevent it from being retagged. If you fix a problem by adding an infobox, simply deleting the tag will be sufficient. When scanning, ignore any pages tagged as class = redirect or dab.
