The series is produced primarily by using the machinima technique of synchronizing video footage from video games to pre-recorded dialogue and other audio. Footage is mostly from the multiplayer modes of Bungie' first-person shooter (FPS) video games Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2 on the Microsoft Xbox video game console, and Halo 3 on the Xbox 360.
