But is it Art?[edit]

It's widely believed that photography, or anyway good photography, is a kind or method of art. If this is so, then photography magazines might be expected to be a subcategory of Category:Art magazines. However, a quick glance at photography magazines shows -- even after one excludes the ads -- that art, however defined, accounts for a small percentage of the content of most. Thus I suggest that this is not made a subcategory of Category:Art magazines. No harm will be done if a few magazines, such as Aperture, go in both categories. -- Hoary 09:14, 3 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
