Definition of "social geography"?

[edit]

As I had written elsewhere, the choice of the currently included articles doesn't make any sense from the standpoint of English-language geography. It's a mirror of the Dutch category Categorie:Sociaal geograaf, however, there's no distinction between human geography in general and social geography in particluar in the Dutch tradition. Few (if any) of the current entries would be considered "social geographers", while those who definitely would, like Emrys Jones, are missing. The question remains, though, how to determine who is a "social geographer". --Axolotl Nr.733 (talk) 12:06, 24 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
