Proposed rename
[edit]I'd like to oppose the suggested category renaming. The Sword and sorcery article puts forth the seminal works of sword and sorcery as being literature, and describes it as a genre that is not limited to one media like film, and perhaps a category should be created to encompass the print works listed in the article. Category:Sword and sorcery should probably exist, but only as an umbrella cat to encompass Category:Sword and sorcery films (which is where this rename should really go) and the as-yet nonexistent Category:Sword and sorcery literature. - I don't see the need for so many categories. Just one will suffice. That's one of the reasons why I made the request in the first place. Lord Sesshomaru (talk • edits) 20:07, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
- Why? We distinguish categorically between film, literature and other media in cases of other genres. In fact, I can't think of a single genre that has one category for all its media. Ford MF (talk) 21:41, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
- I see your point. If you think it's that necessary to have all of those categories then be bold and create them. Lord Sesshomaru (talk • edits) 22:23, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
