Cavaglia
Appearance
Cavaglia is a small village in Val Poschiavo, in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. It lies on the side of a mountain northwest of the town of Poschiavo and, at an altitude of 1,703 metres (5,587 ft),[1] is the highest village in Val Poschiavo. In 2005, its permanent population was 24.
Cavaglia is a stop for the Bernina Express, which runs on the Rhaetian Railway in the Albula/Bernina Landscapes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tourist attractions include a nature trail[2] and a group of deep potholes formed by glacial moulins, as well as other glacial formations.[3][4]
