The Centauro-class fiscalization boat is a class of patrol boats in service with the Portuguese Navy. It is an evolution of the previous Argos-class, which is why it was previously referred to as Argos class - 2nd Series. The main difference from the previous Argos is the naval, corrosion-resistant, aluminium hull.

This class is meant for fisheries fiscalization and control duties mainly in the Mainland Portugal shores – with some sporadic presence in the Madeira Archipelago – up to 50 nautical miles (93 km).

The Centauro class is Portuguese-designed and built at the Arsenal do Alfeite (Almada) and Estaleiros Navais do Mondego (Figueira da Foz).

In 2007, one boat of this class, the NRP Sagitário, became the first Portuguese warship with a female commander, the second lieutenant Gisela Antunes.
