Centro Asturiano de México is a Private organization founded in Mexico by immigrants from the Spanish province of Asturias in 1918. Its headquarters are located in Polanco in downtown Mexico City. The Parque Asturias was opened in Coyoacán to its members in the late 1950s and its Parque Campestre-Ecológico was built not far from the city of Cuautla, Morelos in the late 1980s. It publishes a monthly magazine called the Gaceta and promotes Asturian culture and interests within the Mexican community.
